Mr. Hernan Ruiz Camauer, Programmer and Multimedia Developer

Mr. Ruiz serves as lead multimedia developer at the GAMA Corporation, where he produces interactive multimedia presentations, briefings, and videos in support of facilitation, survey and training services. Prior to joining GAMA Corporation, Mr. Ruiz worked as an editor, graphic designer, and computer animator for Edge City Productions, Inc., in Reston, VA; and prior to that as a multimedia consultant and freelance graphic artist for a number of firms in the DC metropolitan area. He has also worked as a freelance multimedia instructor, teaching both basic and advanced classes in multimedia design and programming. Mr. Ruiz is familiar with all aspects of new media development, on both the Macintosh and PC platforms.

He has set up and operated computer assisted polling systems for use in displaying results for focus group review or in briefing results of samples to foster continued discussion or to support decision making concerning follow-up actions. In addition, he has been responsible for post poll production of results that have included, but not been limited to, the description and summary of results with associated graphs, charts, tables, and associated descriptions of data collection and survey administration methods.

Mr. Ruiz currently serves as primary multimedia developer at the GAMA Corporation, and has extensive experience in computer-assisted, multimedia training support services. He is also a trained cameraman and videographer. His familiarity with a wide variety of advanced multimedia software and hardware, and his experience producing interface designs for multimedia CD-ROMs, allows him to quickly develop engaging cross-platform interactive multimedia applications.

He was the principal developer of GAMA Corporation's proprietary “Tactical Training Tool”, for use in desktop support of facilitated seminars, wargames and simulations as well as decision making training. This PC-based software is capable of rapid reconfiguration to any geographical location and programming to support a wide range of potential emergency or crisis scenarios. In addition, he has been the principal developer of the GAMA Corporation's “Combat Decision Range” that incorporates video, computer simulation, graphics, animation, still photography, and text into a computer-assisted decisionmaking training support system.
